Wulguru State School P&C Association
The Wulguru State School Parents & Citizens’ Association (P&C) is made up of parents, carers, family members, staff and community members who are passionate about supporting our school and achieving the best possible outcomes for our students.
We welcome all members of our school and community to become involved, attend meetings and contribute positively to the future of Wulguru State School.
The Association operates under a Constitution and Code of Conduct approved by the Queensland Department of Education and exists to work in productive partnership with the Principal, school staff and the wider community to support the continued development and improvement of our school.
Our objectives include:
• promoting the interests and wellbeing of students
• fostering community interest in education and school life
• encouraging positive and respectful collaboration between families, staff and the community
• providing advice and recommendations to support the school’s operations and future direction
• assisting in providing financial and other resources that benefit students and the school community.
As part of our commitment to a positive and respectful school community, P&C members are expected to act in the best interests of the school, communicate respectfully, work collaboratively and engage openly and fairly with others, in line with the P&C Code of Conduct.
The P&C Executive is elected annually at the Association’s Annual General Meeting.
