Visiting Artist

Rainbow Serpent

Art Work at Wulguru

Recently Wulguru State School was lucky enough to have Indigenous artist, Arthur Conlon visit our school. He painted the magnificent drawings of animals on the handball courts, a rainbow serpent under the windows on D Block and a giant rainbow serpent near the Prep/Year 1 area. This will be used by our younger students in a variety of ways to enhance learning opportunities. Some students were lucky enough to work with Arthur as he showed them the various techniques he uses to create these pieces. These art works were paid for by the Student Council. If you are down at the school make sure you have a look.
